I remember having read an anecdote according to which, when  
Keynes was asked by members of the Cambridge Circus whether  
he knew "Mr Meade's Relation", he looked around  the room for the  
relation in question.   
 
Unfortunately I cannot find the source. Can anyone help? Thank
