Dear Archival Colleagues:
Please join us at the Archives Association of Ontario's 10th Annual
Conference, "Absolute Advocacy: Thinking Outside the Box". The
conference is June 10-11th at St. Michael's University College on the
picturesque University of Toronto campus. Registration fees are $160.00
or $80.00 for one day.
Delegates will learn practical solutions to real archival issues:
* find out about the new CPERB guidelines archival records from Sonia
Lismer, the Assistant Secretary of the Board;
* have your questions about NAAB answered by Dr. Elwood Jones of Trent
University;
* learn how to teach university students the value of archives from Dr.
Marcus Robyns of the University of Northern Michigan;
* hear about new and successful archival advocacy and marketing
programmes from your Ontario colleagues; and
* discover what Canada's preeminent newspaper columnist, Rick Salutin,
and Governor General Award nominee, Marilyn Simonds, think about
archives and archivists.
