Bring your skills to the Customer Service Team at the Archives of Ontario.
By working in the Microfilm  Unit providing filming services you will be
making the Archives= collection more accessible to our fast growing
clientele.  You will: prepare, film and process to archival standards;
quality check and duplicate a wide variety of archival materials including
documents and manuscripts, bound volumes, maps, plans and drawings.  As well
as advising on the filming of archival material, you will also provide
occasional back-up photographic services in the Photography Unit.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Technical knowledge of archival microfilming procedures and
technical standards;  knowledge of planetary microfilm cameras, processing
equipment, densitometers, and duplication equipment; knowledge of basic
handling techniques applied to fragile materials; experience in the
operation of personal computers and associated software/databases in the
Microfilm Unit ; some basic  knowledge of photographic techniques and the
use of still cameras, lighting equipment etc.
