Accommodation Information for our AAO Colleagues who will be attending the
ACA Conference:

Picture this: a day filled with thought-provoking sessions and stimulating
conversations; an evening spent with friends old and newly met -- enjoying
dinner, a show, or perhaps crushing a cup of wine together. And then ... the
delicious anticipation of a wonderful night's sleep to refresh you for the
next day of the best conference around.

Wait! ... Let's hope that you remembered to book accommodations - or it's
the park bench for you!

Actually, we have two great places for you to stay, so there really is no
need to sleep al fresco. First we have our conference hotel, the exciting
Delta Chelsea, conveniently located downtown, but just a short bus ride or
within walking distance of the conference sessions at Victoria University.
The hotel is located at Toronto's famous main drag, Yonge Street, with lots
of shopping, restaurants and entertainment right at your doorstep. For more
info, check out their web site at:
<http://www.deltahotels.com/hotels/hotels.php?action=show&hotelid=10>. The
conference rate of $174 for a single and $224 for a double room is available
now to the end of the month, so don't delay another minute.

For those looking for a different kind of experience, there is the Victoria
University residence available right next door to the conference venue.
Burwash Hall is a lovely, old building, but recently renovated and complete
with air conditioning. These digs are located in a quiet and leafy quad that
will give you that Merchant & Ivory feeling. And you can't beat the
affordable room rate of $47 for a single or $67 for a double - breakfast
included! You can also stay at Burwash for an extended period if attending
the Workshop and/or Institute. Find out more at:
<http://vicu.utoronto.ca/food/accommodation.htm> or visit the conference
website for all the registration information you'll ever need at:
<http://archivists.ca/conferen/>. Sleep well!
