It might be of very little use to you to know that Phyllis Deane wrote a  
fairly long (50 pages) introductory essay to the Italian translation of J.  
N. Keynes's 'Scope and Method' (Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana,  
Roma, 1986). I met her in 1989 and we spoke about the book. If I  
remember well, she was still thinking of publishing the essay in the  
original language.
