Who lived in Hannibal a while back and today lives in an area of great
racism.
A friend wo is a social worker had to one day go pick up an African american
child from a dangerous setting.  On the way home she stopped to get her some
clothes from a local department store.  The store made it clear in no
uncertain terms that they didn't sell clothes to niggers.(!?!)  Appalling to
say the least.
