Call for papers 
 
History of Economics Society.  The twenty-seventh annual meeting of  
the History of Economics Society will be held June 30-July 3 at the  
University of British Columbia, Vancouver, B.C., Canada.  All persons  
wishing to present a paper or organize a complete session should  
submit an abstract of 200 words or less for a paper or an abstract of  
400 words or less for a complete session by February 15, 2000 to the  
President-Elect, John Davis.  For complete sessions, proposals should  
include names of discussants who are expected to attend the meetings.   
Proposals on all aspects of history of economic thought and  
methodology are invited. A special issue of the Journal of the History  
of Economic Thought will give preference to papers on the conference  
theme, "Historiography, the methodology of the history of economic  
thought."
