The writer of the Canberra Times article appears to be motivated 
_primarily_ by an urge to challenge the idea that Marx was the greatest 
economist of the millenium. He "doth protest too much": 
 
> and for that reason Karl Marx (who is definitely not the runner up) 
 
I suspect Marx would agree, but for a different reason: what a silly, 
meaningless notion, "economist of the millennium", indeed!
