If I remember correctly, the passage quoted from Mill in the article  
from the Canberra Times was from his discussion where he expessed  
the view along the lines that if ideal communism vs. ideal capitalism  
were the choices, then communism would be the winner, but if actual  
communism vs. actual capitalism were the choices then actual  
capitalism would be the winner.  Do I have that right?
