RE:             AAO Workshops Scheduling

I regret to announce that the following Post-Appointment, CORE workshops
will be postponed to Spring 2000:

September 25-26, 1999   ARCH 1007               Kingston
October 2-3, 1999               ARCH 1009               Ottawa
October 3-4, 1999               ARCH 1008               Ottawa
October 23-24, 1999             RAD 1                   Kitchener/Waterloo
November 6-7, 1999              RAD 2                   Thunder Bay

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the AAO's Professional Development
Committee (PDC), I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has
caused.  The revised workshop schedule is:

January 22-23, 2000             ARCH 1006 (Appraisal 2)                 Ottawa
February 26-27, 2000    EAD (Advanced Workshop)         Toronto
March 11-12, 2000               ARCH 1009 (Computers in Archives)       Ottawa
March 12-13, 2000               ARCH 1008 (Media Collections)           Ottawa
March 25-26, 2000               ARCH 1000 (Intro to S. Archives)                Kitchener/Waterloo
March 25-26, 2000               RAD 1                                           Kitchener/Waterloo
March 25-26, 2000               ARCH 1007 (Arr. & Descr. 2)             Kingston
April 8, 2000                   Family Photo Clinic                             Thunder Bay
May 6-7, 2000           RAD 2                                           Thunder Bay

During the next two months, the Professional Development Committee and
myself in conjunction with the AAO Office will work to ensure these
workshops are presented.   An efficient and quality education program
delivery our profession expects and deserves is a priority.
