THE ARCHIVES OF ONTARIO MAIN FLOOR READING ROOM CLOSED : MARCH 1 - 6
The Archives of Ontario's main floor Reading Room at 77 Grenville
Street, Toronto will be closed during the week of 1-6 March while
extensive renovations take place.
One of the key changes will be found in the self-service microfilm area,
which will be expanded to improve ease of use and the area occupied by
microfilm readers and printers, which will be re-configured.
These changes are in response to the 1997 Customer Service Survey and
reflect our goal of improving reference services and facilities for
client research.
We realise this may cause some inconvenience to our clients, and we
apologise for this in advance. We ask for your patience in this time of
change, and hope that you will continue your patronage of the Archives
of Ontario.

ARCHIVES PUBLIQUES DE L'ONTARIO

La salle de lecture principale des Archives publiques de l'Ontario, 77
rue Grenville, Toronto sera fermée durant la semaine du 1er au 6 mars
afin de permettre des travaux majeurs de rénovation.
L'un des principaux changements s'effectuera dans l'aire des microfilms
libre service, qui va être agrandie afin de faciliter leur usage, et
dans l'espace occupé par les lecteurs et lecteurs/reproducteurs de
microfilms, qui va être réaménagé.
Ces changements sont le résultat de l'étude du service à la clientèle de
1997, et reflètent notre but d'améliorer les services de référence et
les installations pour les chercheurs.
Nous nous rendons compte que nous dérangeons nos clients, et nous nous
excusons en avance. Nous vous prions d'être patients pendant cette
période de changements, et nous espérons que vous continuerez à a
profiter des services des Archives publiques de l'Ontario.
