Good Afternoon - Here is the first news installment of the Archives
Association of Ontario's Annual Conference

The program includes two days (Thursday June 20th and Friday June 21st) of
speakers addressing the conference theme:

INTERNE(X)T: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR ARCHIVES IN A NETWORKED WORLD

Speakers from around the province will discuss:

· creating online databases for archival images
· creating virtual exhibits
· copyright in the networked world
· archival facilities in a networked world
· outreach in a networked world
· granting programs
· electronic records (inlcuding papers on electronic mail and the Interpares
project)
· ARCHEION

Next SITREP will provided names of the speakers as well as the key note
