Dear All!
On behalf of the University of Toronto International Health Program, I am
recruiting student volunteers who have experience working or
volunteering abroad to participate in the NGO Fair at the 12th Health and
Human Rights Conference (HHRights). This annual event at the
University of Toronto will take place on Saturday, March 6, 2010.

The aim of HHRights 2010 is to critically examine the effectiveness of aid
and challenge commonly held perceptions about international
development. Through speakers, workshops, and the NGO Fair, we hope to
foster an atmosphere of global awareness and to inspire students to
be active members of the international community.

Student volunteers would be responsible for running a booth at the NGO
fair and actively engaging attendees in conversation pertaining
to the theme of the conference. This would include sharing experiences and
answering questions related to your own experience abroad. The
commitment time would be approximately 1-3 hours.

If you are interested, please contact me with a brief description of the
organization that you traveled with and the kind or work you were involved
in.

Yours Sincerely,

Elsa Dinsdale MSc candidate, University of Toronto
Events Coordinator, Health and Human Rights Conference 2010
