I hope your week has been incredible!


My name is Tatiana, I am the President of Empowering Women In Health (EWIH) - a newly built organization funded by York University's Faculty of Health. Our goal is to inspire women starting their professional careers in health to aim for leadership and equitable representation; for this we use various platforms to raise awareness on the gender disparities in health leadership, connect community leaders with students, and arm students with skills for success.


I am emailing you in order to request a small favour.


We are currently recruiting for students to join our team, and are looking for students or current alumni with various skill-sets across diverse disciplines, including:

  *   Health

  *   Science

  *   Business

  *   Graphics, Arts, Media and/or Web Design

  *   Marketing

  *   Women Studies

Since we are still a new and unknown organization, we were wondering if you could assist us in getting the word out to the students in your department/ faculty, or direct us to someone who could? We believe your audience is one that would be interested in our message and volunteering positions, and from our end we would love to have an interdisciplinary team with the perspective of members of your audience as well!
