SHPM is thrilled to announce a new and exciting undergrad course that will be taking place in Holguin, Cuba, during the Summer 2024 term. The two-week immersive course (3 credits), led by Dr. Jessica Vorstermans, will offer students an in-depth view of key aspects of health, education, history, and culture in Cuba. The focus will be on how Cuba has woven its social fabric to deliver exceptionally high health outcomes, all rooted in a health equity approach. All students qualify for a $1000 bursary.
