financial hardship due to the CUPE 3903 labour disruption. Students can

The following programs are currently available to students:
York University Hardship Bursary - supported by generous contributions
from York faculty, staff and students
York University Undergraduate Bursary Program
Friends of Glendon Hardship Bursary
To apply for these programs, students must:
1. Complete the SFP available from http://www.yorku.ca/osfs/sfp.shtml
2. Submit the Request for Additional Financial Assistance form - available
from the bursary web site listed above
3. Provide supporting documentation (rent receipts, airline ticket
receipts, employment letters/contracts etc..)
If a student has already submitted the SFP, he/she only needs to submit
the Request for Additional Financial Assistance Form and supporting
documentation.

Special Tuition Fee Option - NEW!
Undergraduate students (excluding design, law and consecutive education)
were recently emailed information from Vice President Tiffin regarding a
special tuition fee option for F and Y term courses. This special tuition
fee option will enable students to drop fall term (F) or full year (term
Y) courses and have the fees applied to courses taught in the Winter
2009, Summer 2009 or Fall/Winter 2009/10 sessions. Students must use the
credit by April 30, 2010.
Tuition fees of all courses to be taken under the F and Y course tuition
credit option must be paid by March 1, 2009 to take advantage of this o
ption.
Students wishing to withdraw from an F term course must apply by March 10,
2009
Students wishing to withdraw from a Y term course must apply by April 3,
2009
The application and further information regarding this opportunity will be
posted at www.yorku.ca/backtoclass by the end of this week.
Students on OSAP should speak with an adviser in Student Client Services
in the Bennett Centre prior to dropping courses in order to ensure taking
up this option will not affect their current status or put them into an
overpayment status.
