Health Information Analyst
The St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital (STEGH) is the only Community

The Health Information Analyst is a key member of the Planning and 
Informatics team and contributes to Healthcare delivery by interacting 
with medical staff, healthcare providers and management on a regular 
basis. This position has a broad range of duties including consulting with 
stakeholders, analyzing data, implementing and enhancing quality assurance 
activities, generating analytic outputs including preparing and/or 
delivering presentations and coordinating and submitting various MoHLTC 
projects. The Health Informatics Analyst is responsible for retrieving 
data from various databases including: Discharge Abstract Database (DAD), 
the National Ambulatory Care Reporting System (NACRS), the Electronic 
Patient Record (Cerner), CIHI, ADT, iPort Access and Risk Monitor Pro.
