Talk & Tackle Mental Health Stigma - Presented by Conversations on South Asian Mental Health at York University (COSAMH)

COSAMH is one of the first platforms at York University which focuses on mental health intersecting with South Asian identities. COSAMH aims to empower fellow South Asian youths at York University. Mental well-being is just as important as physical well-being which is an overlooked aspect in South Asian communities. We’d like to break down some barriers regarding mental health in South Asian communities through our events and workshops.

Come and join COSAMH’s very first workshop event of the year!

Talk & Tackle Mental Health Stigma, is on Friday, November 11 from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM at Stong College Room 101 (MDR)

We will talk about mental health stigma through the lens of South Asian communities and learn strategies on how we can overcome barriers together. Free snacks will be provided for all guests.
