Hello SHMP Students,



The Student Association of Health Management Policy and Informatics is a student-run academic club at York that acts as a voice for health studies students and aims to help SHPM students succeed in a health-related career.



If this is something you’re interested in being apart of, SAHMPI is looking for a director of communications and a volunteer coordinator!



Duties of COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR include:

  *   Attending weekly/ bi-weekly team meetings
  *   Taking notes during meetings and organizing the notes after the meeting into action items
  *   Creating schedules for exec members for tabling and special events
  *   Collecting and updating the exec team’s availability
  *   Maintaining the clubs google drive and email account
  *   Foundational Peer Leadership training will be required upon acceptance of the offer

Duties of VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR include:

  *   Attending weekly/ bi-weekly team meetings
  *   Recruit volunteers for events through social media and other platforms
  *   Act as a liaison between volunteers and the club
  *   Organize and train volunteers, and schedule them based on club needs
  *   Monitor, support, motivate, and accredit volunteers and their work
