Learning Skills Program-April Calendar







Dear Colleagues, 

The Learning Skills Program at the Counselling and Development Centre 
would like to provide you with the Learning Skills Workshop calendar for 
the month of April.  We run free daily in-house workshops during the Fall 
and Winter sessions in the areas of:

-Time Management,
-Reading and Note Taking,
-Exam Preparation,
-Learning Style,
-Academic Anxiety and Stress,
-Academic Writing,
-Memory Strategies,
-Study Secrets,
-Critical Thinking and
-Presentation Skills.

Along with our in house workshops, we can also be found at the Scott 
Library.  All workshops in the Scott Library are located in the Sound and 
Moving Image Library (SMIL), Room 124.   

It would be greatly appreciated if you could distribute the attached 
calendar to students, fellow staff and faculty.  Students can register for 
these workshops on-line at:  www.yorku.ca/cdc/lsp/ or in person at N110, 
located in the Bennett Centre for Student Services. 

As a reminder, the Learning Skills Program is one of the programs offered 
through the Counselling and Development Centre as well as the Atkinson 
Counselling and Supervision Centre.  These services are offered to all 
York University undergraduate and graduate students.  For more information
