Dear Sam,
The Community Development Manual produced by the Institute of Maternal and Child Health at Mbarara University of Science and Technology has been used for community based HW, health sciences students, NGOs and district teams. Three courses have been run each year since 2010 producing facilitators skilled at working with rural communities. Participatory methods and black and white drawings which can be used as handouts or codes render if an effective teaching resource. The manual is available for free at the following website.

Thanks for sharing this resource with those interested in community development.
Regards, Kay Wotton
