Annual General Meeting and Biennial Convention
Canadian Nurses Association
World Trade and Convention Centre, Halifax, Nova Scotia
June 16 - 19, 1996
--------------------------------------------------------
At the 1996 CNA Biennial convention, you will:

Learn about:
the trends and critical issues that challenges nursing today; changes
in health care policy and delivery - and the implications for nursing
and client care; the role nurses could be playing the future; and the
future of CAN itself.

Learn how to:
take charge of your career; market yourself; develop your leadership
skills; deal with the chaos and the cutbacks; and make a difference in
the midst of reform, shrinking budgets, constant change, and stress.

Find out:
why it's important to ask a nurse (hint: try attending the role-play
plenary session the morning of 18 June).

Connect with:
others who share your concerns and special interests; people who could
help you in your career path, and nurses who have made a difference.

Through the Drop in and Dialogue sessions and other great
networking opportunities.

Deadline for early registration is May 3, 1996. For more
