Subject: Student Opportunity

The People With Aids Foundation in Toronto urgently needs a Development and
Communications Assistant. We are the largest direct support service organization
in Canada for people living with AIDS/HIV. The Development and Communications
Coordinator requires an assistant.

This position is ideal for a student seeking to augment an academic program with a
work placement. Because we are a charitable organization, we do not have a
budget to pay someone for this position. Funding could be found in the
government or corporate sectors, and we are willing to add this challenge to the
work plan.

The Assistant will be responsible for varied duties in media and advertising, print
material production, promotions, fundraising and administration. This is a very
exciting opportunity for a student in Communications, Fundraising, Business
Administration or Community Development.

For more information contact: Lisa Klapstock, (416) 506-1400; fax: (416) 506-1404.
