An especially timely development in Ontario, Canada may be of interest.

Over the past five years, there have been many cuts to municipal and
provincial services in Ontario. Most affected has been the
Environment Ministry.

Now there has been an outbreak of water supply poisoning in Walkerton
Ontario that has killed people and sickened hundreds.

Details about this very timely story can be found at http://thestar.ca and
http://globeandmail.ca.

A timely lesson. The column in the Toronto Star by Nikifurik is
especially relevant.
