Hello SDOH friends,

I'm just now reading Baijayanta Mukhopadhyay's article in Upping the
Anti, "Care
as Colonialism: Immigrant Health Workers at Canada’s Frontiers
<http://uppingtheanti.org/journal/article/19-care-as-colonialism?fbclid=IwAR3ywtQnByRLkXfkTFopspReDbiNeuNtbuEE5ouyJ21rDKUNi31gpy_A_Ng>."
I wasn't sure it's been shared on the SDOH listserv before. It's complex to
be sure, and some of it is out of my disciplinary area, but I couldn't not
share with the group.

*"But medicine’s history in Canada reads as a force of colonization, rather
than as an abstract, benign force.*"

Peace,
Anne Marie
