Dear SDOH list members,

Can anyone recommend critical articles, letters to the editor,
commentaries, etc. about the incorporation and application of social
science constructs into public health and social epidemiology?  Basically,
I am looking for fairly recent papers that provide a critical evaluation
of
the translation of social science concepts into public health research and
practice.  I know this discussion has emerged (often) in the social
capital
and health literature, but I am unaware of any work that examines this
issue in a more general manner.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Please reply directly to me
using the e-mail address below unless you think it may benefit the entire
list.
