Hello everyone,
The National Collaborating Centre for Determinants of Health (NCCDH<nccdh.ca>) is conducting a national environmental scan of the public health field. This is our first environmental scan since 2018, and much has changed over the past five years!
About the environmental scan
The environmental scan is an opportunity for the NCCDH to take the pulse of the field. Past NCCDH environmental scans<https://nccdh.ca/resources/type/category/environmental-scan> are an important contribution to the collective knowledge base on public health and health equity action. They directly inform NCCDH projects and larger strategic planning and processes for NCCDH and other valued partners. The current environmental scan will be informed by several activities, including an online survey.
About this online survey
Through this survey, we want to hear how you are taking action on the structural and social determinants of health and addressing the root causes of inequity. We also want to hear how our organization – and the larger health system – can better support your change-making and equity-driven efforts.

Le Centre de collaboration des déterminants de la santé (CCNDS<https://nccdh.ca/fr/>) entame son processus d’analyse du contexte en santé publique au Canada. Sa dernière analyse du contexte remonte à 2018, et le paysage a bien changé depuis cinq ans!
À propos de l’analyse du contexte
L’analyse du contexte est l’occasion pour le CCNDS de prendre le pouls de la situation en santé publique. Les analyses du contexte faites par le CCNDS par le passé<https://nccdh.ca/fr/resources/type/category/environmental-scan> sont venues enrichir substantiellement la base des connaissances commune en matière de santé publique et d’équité en santé. Elles influent directement sur l’orientation des projets, de la planification stratégique et des autres activités du CCNDS et des principaux partenaires. Dans le cadre de l’analyse du contexte en cours, l’équipe du CCNDS mènera de nombreuses activités, y compris un sondage en ligne.

Nous réalisons le sondage afin de connaître les efforts que vous déployez pour agir sur les déterminants structurels et sociaux de la santé et les causes profondes des inégalités. Nous tenons par la même occasion à savoir ce que nous devrions changer – au CCNDS et dans le système de santé en général – pour mieux soutenir votre démarche afin de changer les choses et d’assurer une plus grande équité.
