Of course, it takes a Guardian *UK* news reporter to pick up on the Brandeis
U (MA) study.  The study's authors also said the true
gap is actually larger, because their study didn't include real estate &
home ownership.

And, just one of the ripple effects of such massive wealth inequality is
demonstrated in yesterday's (5/17) *Chicago Tribune* report
on the huge disparities in how city parks and playlots are maintained,
renovated, resourced and staffed, between black and white Chicago
neighborhoods.
Same as what "Play Across Boston" study w/ Harvard School of Public Health
researchers found 10 years ago, and on and on across America.
