Presentation Title: Panel Discussion on Asian Pacific, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Health

Keynote speakers: Krystal Ka’ai, Executive Director of the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, and Dr. Monica McLemore, Editor-in-Chief, Health Equity, and Interim Director of the University of Washington’s Center for Antiracism in Nursing, will be joined by a panel of leading national experts on AAPI health. Join us for this special event co-organized with the journal Health Equity.

Panelists include

  *   Dr. Grace Ma,PhD,  Associate Dean for Health Disparities, Founding Director of Center for Asian Health, Laura H. Carnell Professor at Lewis Katz School of Medicine and Fox Chase Cancer Center at Temple University
  *   Dr. Raynald Samoa, Endocrinologist at the City of Hope, member of President’s Advisory Commission on Asian American, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders and is the Co-Chair of the Data Disaggregation Subcommitte.
  *   Dr. Thu Quach, President of Asian Health Services
  *   Dr. Xinzhi Zhang, MD, PhD, FACE, Chief of Health Inequities and Global Health Branch at the Center for Translation Research and Implementation Science at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The Panel discussion will be moderated by Dr. Zhuo (Adam) Chen, Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management, College of Public Health, The University of Georgia

This webinar is co-organized by the Health Disparities Research Working Group, the UGA College of Public Health and the journal Health Equity.
