Hello, my name is Barbara Grosh. I teach public administration at
Syracuse and do research on developing economies, primarily Africa.

I'm trying to trace down a quote I remember reading, which I think
came from Joan Robinson, though I could be wrong about that. It went
something to this effect: "It's a terrible thing to be a worker
exploited in the capitalist system. The only worse thing is to be a
worker unable to find anyone to exploit you." Something like that.
Anyone recognize this who can direct me to a source?

Many thanks.
