In response to off-line queries, two (late-ish) versions of these chapters can be found here:

http://www2.lse.ac.uk/fmg/events/financialRegulation/LFR1R_Leeson.pdf

http://economics.uwo.ca/workshop/epri/leeson_sep20.pdf

Comments welcome. I will return to these topics later this year when I have finished a book on Market Failure.

Subject: Re: [SHOE] roots of fiscal consolidation

I am currently writing a book on fiscal consolidation, bubbles and dysfunctional intermediation (two chapters are available on the websites of the Dallas and Kansas City Federal Reserve Districts, the central banks of Greece, Poland and Australia, the Federal Treasury of Australia and the US (Bureau of Public Debt) plus a dozen or so universities in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia).
