A Puzzle … TE Gregory’s missing Inaugural Lecture

I wonder if anyone has any insight into the puzzle of T E Gregory’s inaugural lecture as Cassel Professor of Banking & Currency at the LSE.  The chair was created in 1926 and Gregory was appointed, quite likely to dissuade him from taking a lucrative, though short term, post at Chicago.

His inaugural lecture “The Social Function of the Banker” was reported in The Times, 19 January 1927 p.9,  but is  otherwise missing from current records - so far as I can see. It would be great to find it, if anyone has any ideas (maybe access to some of the banking journals of the time)?
