In _England's Treasure by Foreign Trade_ (published in 1664), Thomas Mun
described the "qualities which are required in a perfect merchant" and the
role merchants ought to play in society. What other publications may be
listed as belonging to the same genre (advice to/defence of merchants)? Did
the genre persist in the 18th and 19th centuries?

Thanks in advance for any ideas
