The Annual Mark Twain Birthday Party & Symposium has become one of the
premiere Twain celebration events in the United States!  It's a great family
event, with laughter, interesting information, and birthday food! In
addition
to Mike Randall, other featured guests include:

  Professor Vic Doyno:    Professor of English at University of Buffalo, Dr.
Doyno is considered one of the foremost Huckleberry Finn scholars in the
world. He will be discussing the new portions of the novel found when the
1st
half of the Huckleberry Finn manuscript was discovered in 1991.

  William Loos: Former Curator of Rare Books at the Buffalo & Erie County
Public Library, Mr. Loos is the person responsible for keeping the
Huckleberry Finn 1st half manuscript in Buffalo, rather than being auctioned
through Sotheby's. His is a fascinating story of slides and words!

  Maggie Vaughn:  Poet Laureate of the State of Tennessee and a major
Twainiac, Maggie has written eight books, including a book of poetry in
honor
of Mark Twain.  She is a storyteller extraordinaire, and the reading of  her
Twain poetry will delight, amuse, and move you!

  Assistant Professor Mark K. Fulk: Dr.  Fulk teaches in the English
Department at Buffalo State College and heads up The Writing Center.  An
accomplished poet, he will be reading a poem honoring Twain,  written
especially for this event.

  Clyde Haupt: Professor Haupt teaches English at Erie Community College,
and
is a recognized expert in Twain and the media. His presentation will offer
insights, clips, and stories of Twain and the media throughout the years.

  Errol Craig Sull: Taught Adventures of Huckleberry Finn as Adjunct
Professor of Writing for 10 years at Niagara University and is currently
teaching Writing at Buff State and University at Buffalo.   Errol has
written
reviews of various critical works on Huck Finn and new editions of the
novel;
and has taught the novel at The Chautauqua Institution. Get set for the
newest installment of his Huckleberry Finn rap series!

or interesting facts to share with the audience!
