Yes, under normal circumstances, the links, as originally posted, would work just fine; but thanks to the garbage-characters that sometimes occur during a message's relay through the listserv, links can be tricky things.

When in doubt, go to the main Forum page, <www.twainweb.net>, scroll down the page to "archives," and click thereon. You can then search "colorizing photos" in the Subject-line field, which will display a list of postings from the aforementioned thread of 10 October 2013.

Yes, I remember seeing it here
before, and probably replied then with=20
the same reference I'm linking here now, which proves that
 the=20
colorization was indeed a fantasy since color didn't come
 into the world=20
until the 1930s, as any student of photography, such as
 Calvin's dad, =20
 well knows: =20

And btw, I couldn't get those archive links to open.
 Are they really avail=
 able?

Folks-- This photograph (and the =
 practice of colorization) has already
been=3D   discussed on the Forum. See=
the Forum thread of 10 October 2013 with the S=3D

=3D3D-3    The article cited in h=

 MT,=3D   at Dollis Hill--=
is still a functioning URL:    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2446=

 hs-created-colorist-bring-eras-heroes-c=

 verified as Dollis Hill, =
1900, per a Forum posting at that =3D  time by none
 other than Robert Hirst=

=3D3D-3    The copyright for that p=
