Dear Robert,

As Samuel Bostaph mentioned, neuroeconomics is the field which addresses 
these issues.

Typically, research labs in neuroeconomics hire very motivated post-docs on 
a per case basis. I maintain a list of research labs in neuroeconomics here:

(up to date for 2010).

Coincidentally or not, there is a post-doc position advertised at Aix-
Marseille University by the French partners of NESSHI, which is a just 
starting 3-year European project for the sociological study of neuro social 
science.
