Dear Colleagues,

The Society for the History of Japanese Economic Thought (SHJET),
which is different from the Japanese Society for
the History of Economic Thought (JSHET),
will hold the annual conference at Saga University, Saga City,
Kyushu (Region), Japan, during June 4-5, 2011.

The unifying theme for this conference is
"The Thinkers in the Late Tokugawa Kyushu (in the Early 19th Century)".
During this period, Japan's Tokugawa Shogunate Government was
ending its isolationist policy. We will discuss Japanese saga in Saga.
We will welcome non-SHJET members' participation in the conference.

You can find an English version of our program,
following the Japanese original edition, by making access to:
http://web.econ.keio.ac.jp/staff/mkomuro/atoc-JET/index.html
and by clicking the fifth hot link (in Japanese) from the top.

Best wishes,

Aiko Ikeo
