Thomas A. Tenney, Editor
c/o English Department
The Citadel
Charleston, SC 29409
_Mark Twain Journal_ is published twice yearly, Spring and Fall.
Beginning in 1984 with Volume 22, the volume number changes each year,
rather
than every second year, as in the past. The _Journal_ was founded by Cyril
Clemens as the _Mark Twain Quarterly_, and continued under that title
through
Volume 9, Number 3 (Winter, 1953); it became the _Mark Twain Journal_ with
Volume 9, Number 4 (Summer, 1954). There were four issues per volume through
Volume 21, but Volume 7, Number 3/4 was a combined issue (the volume number
was incorrectly printed as VIII).
New subscribers may prefer to start with 1994 @ $18.00 ($20.00
foreign)
and 1995 @ $18.00 ($20.00 foreign). The 1997 subscription rate will also be
$18.00 ($20.00 foreign), but individuals may subscribe for $10.00 for one
year, $18.00 for two years, $25.00 for three years, or $25.00 for four
years.
Microfilm and microfiche are available from University Microfilms, 300
North Zeeb Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48106. If they receive ten library orders,
they will complete microforming back to the first issue (Fall 1936), making
the complete _Mark Twain Quarterly_ and _Mark Twain Journal_ available in
microform.

Journal_ @ $9.00 each, postpaid, domestic or foreign ($4.50 each on orders
