As one of the victims of John's "Candid Camera," I must lodge a protest.
Not against John; no, in this age of You-Tube and Flip Video, he is well
within his rights to try to tie our tongues.
I protest that my colleagues, who had been ambushed days before, did not
warn the rest of us what was coming. They were like the audience in
Bricksville making sure that all of their neighbors were "sold" before
seeking revenge. But if they'd had the willingness to put aside their
shame, they could have helped us prepare some good answers, say, along the
lines of "Encounter with an Interviewer." I could easily have played dead
had I any advanced warning. My twin was not drowned, either.
Yours in indignant suffering,
Gregg
