Colleagues,

A reminder that the Queen's University Archives <https://archives.queensu.ca/> invites interested individuals to submit applications to The Geraldine Grace and Maurice Alvin McWatters Visiting Fellowship for 2021-2022. As we were unable to host a Fellow for 2020-2021 due to COVID19 restrictions, we will be making two (2) awards of the Fellowship for 2021-2022.

The Fellowship is designed to foster, promote, and support original archival research by scholars, authors, or artists in the collections located at Queen's University Archives. Our most recent Fellow was Mr. Brandon Graham, a Treaty Research Coordinator with the Chippewas of the Thames First Nations.

This Visiting Fellowship has a stipend of $5,000 which is intended to help defray living, travel, or research expenses of successful applicants to come to Kingston, Ontario, Canada to conduct their research.

The deadline for submission of this year's application is Friday, September 17, 2021.

For further information please visit <https://archives.queensu.ca/about-archives/geraldine-grace-and-maurice-alvin-mcwatters-visiting-fellowship>.

The application may be found at: <https://archives.queensu.ca/sites/webpublish.queensu.ca.archwww/files/files/Fellowship-Application.pdf>.

You can download a flyer about the fellowship and Queen's University Archives at <https://archives.queensu.ca/sites/webpublish.queensu.ca.archwww/files/files/McWattersVisitingFellowshipFlyer2022.pdf>.

Please share this opportunity!

Best regards,
