It gives me great pleasure to announce
the winner of the Name That
Union List contest and the new name of
Ontario's archival information network.

The winner is: Dr. Carl Spadoni of the
McMaster University Archives.

The name is:
ARCHEION.

Dr. Spadoni says: "It's from the
Greek meaning archives or archivist.
See Luciana Duranti's article in Tom
Nesmith's Canadian archival studies and the rediscoverery of provenance.
The name also has ON at the end
designating Ontario."
