Apologies for cross posting.

We are about to embark on building an extension to our Archives building that will have archival storage space for 40 years worth of records.  As we can't fill that space immediately, our plan is to rent the space out as appropriate, climate controlled space to other local heritage organizations who are currently at capacity, or are so small they do not have their own archival storage.

My question to the list is, do you know of anyone that rents out archival storage space?  Do you have an agreement with any outside institutions to use some of your storage space?  How much to do you charge?  Can you share an example of your agreement?

If you don't do that, does your organization rent any plain ol' records storage from a place like Iron Mountain and would you be willing to share what that agreement looks like?
