Presenter: Jared Akenhead, Senior Content Acquisition Manager, Ancestry

Jared Akenhead has worked the last 12 years at Ancestry and is currently the Senior Content Acquisition Manager. Jared has spent a number of years in the US and Canadian markets - working with local and national archives, individual and corporate record repositories, and societies of all shapes and sizes. He has been successful in developing partnerships with many non-profit and government organizations. Born in England, Jared was raised in Southern Africa and eventually immigrated to Australia. He attended University in the US and now lives in Utah with his wife and their 5 children and 5 grandchildren. Jared loves the outdoors and enjoys "Jeeping" in the many parks around Utah.
