ARCHIVIST
The Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer established in Canada since
1874, and popularly known as the Redemptorists, are seeking the services
of a full-time Professional Archivist and Website Coordinator.

Qualifications: MAS, MLIS or related discipline.  Proven knowledge of
archival methods and standards. Strong Information Technology skills
including Web design and HTML editing.  Familiarity with
word-processing, database and imaging software. Dynamic, independent
worker.  Knowledge of the history of the Catholic Church in Canada an
asset.  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Duties: Managerial responsibility for the daily operations of the
archives including collection management, provision of access and
reference services, conservation, arrangement and description, outreach
and promotion.  Website development and web page authoring. Some
historical research and writing involved.

Hours:  35 hours per week, flexible schedule.
