The Canadian Advisory Committee for Memory of the World is delighted to announce that registrations are open for the upcoming virtual symposium "Building Connections and Forging Alliances: Strengthening the Intersections between Archives and Intangible Cultural Heritage." The symposium will take place via Zoom on 19 September 2023, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time. Presentations and discussions will be in both French and English with simultaneous interpretation.

The symposium is supported by The Canadian Commission for UNESCO (CCUNESCO), which oversees the Memory of the World Committee, and has received financial support from the Programme Commission of International Council on Archives (ICA PCOM), Heritage Saskatchewan, and Western University.

Le Comité consultatif canadien de la Mémoire du monde est heureux d’annoncer que les inscriptions pour le prochain symposium virtuel « Tisser des liens et forger des alliances : Renforcer les croisements entre les archives et le patrimoine culturel immatériel » sont désormais ouvertes. Le symposium se tiendra sur la plateforme Zoom le 19 septembre 2023, de 8 h 30 à 17 h, heure avancée de l’Est. Les présentations et les discussions se feront en français et en anglais et seront interprétées simultanément.

Le symposium est soutenu par la Commission canadienne pour l’UNESCO (CCUNESCO), qui supervise le Comité Mémoire du monde, et a reçu le soutien financier de la Commission du programme du Conseil international des archives (ICA PCOM), de Heritage Saskatchewan, et de Western University.
