TEMPORARY POSITION: RECORDS ANALYST/ARCHIVIST


The City of Thunder Bay Archives has a temporary vacancy for a Records Analyst/Archivist who will participate in the operation of the automated Corporate Records Management system and will assist with the preservation of the City's permanent records. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a masters degree in Archival Studies together with at least (1) year of experience in Records Management/Archives or a university degree along with a Certificate in Records Management/Archives from a recognized training course combined with at least five (5) years experience in Records Management/Archives. However, candidates with lesser qualifications will be considered. A sound knowledge of, and practical experience with computers and information technology is essential. Knowledge of GAIN and GENCAT software would be an asset.
