I would like to congratulate Manda and Patrick, the editors  of Off the Record,
and Brian Masschaele on producing an excellent issue for October 1999.

Brian's Archives Advsor file is excellent. In just over two pages of informative
and readable text Brian has accomplished what other archivists require dozens of
pages of convulated text to accomplish. He has provided sound professional
advice that can benefit those starting new programs, as well as serve as a
reminder to those of us in well established programs.

Brian's article is indicative of the excellent publication that Off the Record
has become over the last few years. Off the Record has excelled at providing
practical advice in a concise manner that is appreciated by those of us who are
innudated by professional and personal committments. Articles in Off the Record
consistently make complicated concepts and practises sound simple, rather than
making simple concepts sound complicated.

Yuri and Barb keep up the good work. I look forward to your next offering.
