Notes from the Instructor, Iona McCraith:
BASIC CONSERVATION TECHNIQUES: A Hands-on Workshop- Costing
All participants bring with them a 12 or 18 inch ruler, scissors, pencil.
AAO provides the following supplies and tools and passes on cost to the
workshop participants. Costs listed here are based on 10 participants and
taken from current catalogues .Items from Talas are in US$ and so I added
15% to listed price to get approximate cost in Canadian $$ as you see below.
Taxes and shipping also would need to be added to total cost below. To keep
it simple and so you can post the materials cost in the PDC schedule now, I
suggest you add a $50.00 material fee in addition to the usual registration
fee for a two day workshop
Items marked with a * the participants would get to keep. I will mention in
my description for your schedule that they get to keep some hand tools and
sample materials after the course. Prices in ($0.00 ) are the cost per
participant based on 10 people for that item at best price I could source.
