Dear Colleagues in History of Economics,

The Department of Economic History at LSE has advertised an entry level position (assistant professorship) with closing date 31st October 2014, the links to details are on the first page of my department’s website:
http://www.lse.ac.uk/economicHistory/home.aspx

Links take you to a ‘job specification’ which indicates teaching ability in economic history, and a ‘person specification’ which is written quite broadly to include those from related social science disciplines ‘provided that candidates have an explicitly historical approach.’ Historians of economics are encouraged to apply, but will need to show flexibility about teaching and research interests.

Please circulate this opportunity to any likely candidate,

Many thanks, Mary Morgan
