Dear Colleagues,

I would very much appreciate it if you would kindly inform me of the following.

The fist volumes of the LSE "series of reprints of scarce works on political economy" appeared in 1935 and 1936, which followed the completion of a "series of reprints of scarce tracts in economic and political science," published between 1930 and 1935. The volumes were _Industrial Combination_, by D. H. Macgregor (1935), _Protective and Preferential Import Duties_, by A. C. Pigou (1936), and _The Principles of Political Economy_, by T. R. Malthus (1936). Who took the initiative in the project of this new series? I would like to know what materials to consult as to how the project went on.

With many thanks in advance,
Shin Kubo
